All-ability Teen Hub

The Mae Murray Foundation which is based in Larne is using a £199992 grant to run social activities for young people who have complex disabilities. Over five years the project will bring the young people together face-to-face and online to connect with their peers reduce loneliness and increase their independence and self-confidence. The project will provide parents/carers with respite while their child is in a safe setting tailored to their needs. The monthly youth club sessions will take part in Larne and Newtownards and young people from across Northern Ireland will be involved in a youth panel who will plan activities for their peers and use their lived-experience to influence the wider work of the organisation.
