Construction for Communities: removing barriers and engaging individuals

Construction for Communities will take adapted mobile units into the community to deliver information on subjects such as CV writing, interview techniques, filling in application forms, presentation skills, and also taster sessions on various construction roles; carpentry, brick making/laying, general maintenance etc. Individuals will also be able to access organisations offering advice on housing issues, benefits, addiction etc. The project will initially operate in the areas of Sandfields and Penrhys.
