Embrace, Empower and Educate transgender children and young people

The funding is for a project designed to support young people who are transgender or gender non-conforming. The project aims to reduce loneliness and isolation by helping parents and young people develop their confidence and resilience and to set up their own local support groups. Inclusive diversity training on how best to support transgender young people will be on offer to professionals. Research into issues faced by transgender young people will also be conducted.
