Driven by their new strategic aim to welcome more people, Tomorrow?s Tower is a £77.5m transformation of the Tower of London - enhancing accessibility, sustainability, learning, and community participation as the Tower approaches its 1,000th anniversary. The project will deliver new exhibitions, major conservation, and innovative environmental initiatives. At its heart is a £40m programme to create a centre of excellence for learning and community engagement. This includes conserving at-risk heritage spaces to establish two Learning and Community Centres, increasing education space by 250%, and introducing the first-ever dedicated community rooms. A new Green Classroom, set within a biodiverse Moat of wetlands and meadows, will offer outdoor STEM and wellbeing sessions. The transformation will double annual school visitors to 200,000, expand community participation to 25,000, and reach 115,000 additional pupils nationwide through a new media studio.
