The Arbroath Harbour slipway cradle has reached the end of its serviceable life and requires to be replaced. The cradle is in two halves, upper end and lower end, and is joined with a brackets and pins. The cradle winch is not part of these works however the connection to the winch cable is.
The slipway track guides will remain in place and the new cradle will have to be constructed to fit the width and spacing.
