The UK Dementia Research Institute (UKDRI) based at the Edinburgh BioQuarter, is a centre of excellence for life sciences research and development. The UK DRI at Edinburgh aims to piece together how the different cells, systems and processes work together to keep our brains healthy as we age, and what goes wrong to trigger neurodegenerative disease.
To assist with the research and studies, the institute requires a Duo Digital Dispenser to enhance drug screening and development capabilities. This is a new-to-market device to assist in a push towards testing more complex drug combinations at greater throughput whilst maintaining robustness, a process which is costly in terms of time and consumables with currently available equipment.
