Dumfries and Galloway Council operate a Mechanical Biological Waste Treatment facility located in Dumfries. The plant operates with 2 overhead gantry cranes which are used to lift and transfer waste around the fully automated waste treatment facility which has been in situ since 2006.
The completed survey is intended to inform the Council of the cranes current condition, any immediate remedial action necessary and set out the requirements for future annual maintenance and servicing.
