South Lanarkshire Council Social Work Resources is seeking seeking to work in partnership with experienced third sector organisations who can deliver cost effective, outcome-based adult carer and young carer services that deliver on the priorities that are laid out in the Carers Strategy 2023 – 2026. It is anticipated the service provision will cover approximately 300 Adult Carer Referrals per quarter, and 60 Young Carers Referrals per quarter to provide a service for both new referrals and repeat referrals and support Adult Carer Support Plans and Young Carers Statements. Referral numbers could increase as a result of implementation of Care Reform (Scotland) Bill, and Rights to breaks for carers.
