Description

The Works:

Stripping and re-slating of pitched roofs and dormer windows.
Replacing any rotten timber, including sarking boards and rafters.
Routering of all tongued and grooved sarking boards to remove the tongue to allow for improved ventilation throughout the roof void.
Installing a breather membrane below the new slating and reinforced 5U felt above the sarking boards.
Replacing all lead ridge cappings and replacing all lead flashings.
Stripping and replacing lead flat roofs in new lead in accordance with the Lead Sheet Association.
Cleaning the low-level lead flat roofs, then coating in a liquid plastics coating.
Replacing the life expired west facing cast iron rooflight and north facing single glazed timber window in like for like units.
Redecorating selected timber windows.
Replacing all gutters and downpipes in new cast iron.
Managing a LARC through a package of asbestos removal works.
Internal decoration works following the completion of the asbestos removal works and the reinstating of the walls and ceiling in plasterboard sheets.
Further miscellaneous works.
