The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of a Commercial Dataset for Data Linking. The contract is for access to a commercial dataset to link the information from supported inward investment and export promotion companies, in order to monitor performance metrics across Scotland over and above the standard jobs, project numbers and export sales. The project is part of a wider evaluation project seeking to evaluate the impact of inward investment and export promotion support on the Scottish economy and how delivery partner support contributes to additional benefits ("spillovers").
