3.1Renfrewshire Council have a requirement for the Planned Maintenance and Service of Fire Extinguishers & Associated Kit. The planned and reactive maintenance to Portable Fire Fighting Equipment will be in accordance with BS 5306 3:2017 or most up to date edition, to achieve statutory compliance. There is currently a programme of routine servicing and testing for all Portable Fire Fighting Equipment in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines or at 12 monthly intervals.
