Renfrewshire Council has appointed a contractor to carry out Replacement Roofs for Tank Rooms at Arkleston, Rashielea & Our Lady of Peace Primary Schools.
The works will comprise of;
the erection of an access scaffold around the 4 sides of the tank room. 2 Sides of this scaffold will be built off the existing school roof and suitable spreader plates to be incorporated to ensure the roof is not overloaded.
Protection of internal valves / sensor etc against water damage.
Removal of the existing roof coverings and roof structure
Replacement of existing loadbearing timber stud walls
Replacement of existing roof structure and deck
Partial replacement of Existing Tank Room cladding
New waterproofing to the roof
New wall head protection and alterations to wall upstand
