The Community Based Alcohol & Drug Prevention & Treatment Service will provide a community-based service which will focus on recovery-based outcomes in respect of alcohol/drug misuse. The aim of the service is to identify and reduce hazardous or harmful alcohol and/or drug use, lower level/binge drinking, and experimental non dependant drug use and recreational drug use and any related behaviour which impacts on the totality of individuals’ lives and the community. It is anticipated that the service will provide a range of inclusive programmes of intervention based on individual assessed needs and development of recovery groups.
