The Scottish Government Legal Directorate has a requirement to place two contracts with external legal service providers for the provision of debt recovery legal services.
The primary service provider will be the exclusive provider of the services except in circumstances where they cannot act for Scottish Ministers for any reason, including but not limited to a real, perceived or apparent conflict of interest. In such circumstances the reserve service provider will undertake the required debt recovery services.
