The SPS require to replace a Steam Boiler at HMP Barlinnie which will provide and ensure continuity steam supply for the short, medium and long term. Including removal and disposal off-site of the existing boiler.
The replacement is to be carried out in which a continuous supply of steam is maintained to the Establishment.
The replacement shall ensure no modifying or altering existing enclosure (except for ventilation purposes) and include for all necessary alterations/modifications/extensions or additions to connect the new boiler to existing connection points.
