The project is to provide the installation of additional fixed cameras or the use of existing to provide video analytics to cover a new perimeter pathway that has recently been constructed at HMP Castle Huntly.
The system will include an infrared lighting facility to allow viewing and detection in the dark. Video analytics will also alert staff if an intruder is detected. The new system will be in addition to the existing CCTV, which was upgraded in the last 3 years, and will include recording facilities.
The Contractor as part of the project shall design, supply, install, test and commission a complete working solution to, provide additional fixed cameras with video analytics and extend coverage to identified areas. The project involves the installation of Video Analytics (VA) to detect intrusion within the perimiter pathway shown in the diagram below. This shall be achieved by installiing an additional fixed cameras which form part of this contract. The Contractor shall also install infrared lighting to allow viewing and detection in the dark.
