Description

NHS Golden Jubilee has a requirement for an indirect calorimeter system. The system requires the following features:

Suitable for use with ventilated and unventilated patients
Must support the use of a face mask and/or a canopy hood
System must comply with ESPEN guidelines
Results must be available in under 15 minutes
Must be portable with battery backup to support easy transfer between patients
Must allow cleaning with neutral detergent wipes and Actichlor plus (Free Chlorine) disinfectant.
Must not require detailed interaction and user calibration before use
Supports simplified workflow without the need for in-depth specialist training
