SEStran seeks to conduct a review of the strategic transportation projects across the whole of the partnership area over a three-year budget period. Through discussion and engagement with stakeholders the review will identify all projects, their funding status and their delivery timescale, for local authority partners and all other stakeholders and delivery agents. The review will identify projects in the following categories:
Funded and currently being delivered;
Funded and planned for delivery;
Funded for detailed design development (Detailed business case);
Funded for initial project assessment and development (Outline business case);
Developer funded projects linked to Regional Growth and Strategic Development;
Approved projects without any funding; and
Aspirational projects.
The review will also consider and identify strategic gaps in the transport infrastructure across all modes.
