The court is the governing body of the University, with internal members (staff and students of the University) and external members (lay members) shaping its structure. The institution is influential in the University’s strategy and overseeing the effective management of the University’s reputation, financial stability, employment of staff and the well-being all of all staff and students.
The purpose of this tender is to appoint a specialist recruitment agency to work with the University of Strathclyde to assist in sourcing candidates to fill vacancies for lay membership positions in the University Court. The agency may also be required to source candidates for the position of Convener of Court. The Convener of Court is a non-executive leadership position and is elected by staff from 2 suitably qualified candidates that the agency would be required to provide via a long-list. However, this role is subject to vacancy and confirmation from the University.
