In this instance, AIMS is looking for solutions that would compliment the range of end-effectors, workpiece magazines , workpiece sorters and workpiece presenters and other ancillary equipment to enable our COBOTs to perform machine tending duties.
Currently, the AIMS project has several Universal Robotics UR10e’s available to preform such duties, but lack the ancillary equipment to sort and feed workpieces into a machine-tool (such as a press-brake). Furthermore, we require the equipment to present the parts to the COBOT and then into the machine-tool.
This is a demonstration line, and not intended for full industrial production, but a flexible showcase, set up to inspire small and medium engineering / production enterprises to scale up their business.
