The SPM Design team (‘the Team’) is a service area within the Delivery & Testing function of the Programme that has overall responsibility for the end to end design of SPM within the Scottish Government (SG). Fundamental aspects of this responsibility include, but are not limited to: owning the SPM Blueprint; optimising SPM design and delivery structures; and safeguarding the SPM design for the Agency and in turn for service users. To achieve this, the team works closely with stakeholders from the Programme, Social Security Scotland and SPM Development suppliers, driving forward the Programme’s SPM development in line with the SPM Blueprint and, more broadly, the SG digital strategy (reuse before buy before build).
