QMS is looking to carry out an independent performance review of its operations between 2018 and 2023 with a focus on impact within the red meat sector in Scotland, across the UK and further afield, looking at what QMS has delivered during this time, and how QMS has performed during a backdrop of changing economic and regulatory challenges.
QMS as an NDPB already is subject to an annual external audit, and comprehensive internal audit programme, covering governance and internal processes and procedures, so we would like to complete the suite of feedback with a longer-term view of delivery against sector needs.
