The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) requires a Contractor to design, supply, install, test and commissioning of a new slider and drive mechanism on one of its vehicle gates within the sterile area of HMP Barlinnie
The project includes for replacement of the existing slider and drive mechanism, with new. The existing vehicle lock gates are the main route for vehicles entering, or leaving, the Establishment.
The control panels will be replaced with new, incorporating all existing safety features and system interfaces, with updated record information provided to ensure continued operation of the gates and to assist with future maintenance activities.
