The Council has an ongoing requirement to appoint a contract contractor to secure vacant housing properties by installing temporary shuttering to prevent trespass, vandalism and theft across South Lanarkshire.
The contractor will also require to maintain and monitor the equipment used to ensure that it is maintained in good working order to be able to remove the shuttering when instructed.
The current contract is due to expire on 31 July 2022. The contract requires to be replaced with a legally compliant contract that will deliver the same or enhanced service levels and efficiencies as there is an ongoing requirement to secure vacant housing properties.
