The engagement of a suitably qualified provider to carry out a science-based review of MRC PPU, MRC HGU and MRC MBU, to determine their Carbon Footprint and set targets for emission reductions that are consistent with the 1.5°C limit for global temperature rise. The review will also establish a ‘net zero emissions pathway’ and ‘net zero action plan’ for each of MRC PPU, MRC HGU and MRC MBU, consistent with the 2040 Net Zero target of UKRI.
