Crown Estate Scotland operates a seabed licensing scheme for private mooring holders and constituted Mooring Associations. The scheme is operated by Bidwells, Crown Estate Scotland’s outsourced property manager for marine leisure seabed agreements.
This socio-economic study is being undertaken to research and report on the contribution the the private moorings sector makes to Scottish Government sustainable development goals in the context of Crown Estate Scotland’s statutory duties under Section 11 of the Crown Estate Scotland Act 2019.
