Over recent months, the Domestic Climate Change Division within the Scottish Government has been scoping out the level of climate action within Scottish sport and started to assess the appetite and capacity of Scottish Governing Bodies of sport (SGBs) to engage on the issue and support further action.The team has partnered with Zero Waste Scotland, sportscotland and Active Scotland (‘the partnership’) to explore how Scottish sports bodies can be supported to undertake and promote further climate action.The overall aim of this contract is to bring together all materials and knowledge gathered to date by the partnership, and, through consultation with SGBs, give a clear direction forward for the partnership.
