The area covered in this tender forms part of RSPB Inversnaid. It is also within an area of designated woodland (Pollochro Woods SSSI) that is in poor condition due to over browsing by deer and goats. Permission is in place from NatureScot to carry out the work. It has been confirmed that no planning consent is required.
The successful contractor will construct two deer exclosures on the western side of the reserve.
