P5552285 - HERITAGE REPAIRS @ EASTER TOWN HALL, ANSTRUTHER

All works (excluding associated electrical works, to be completed by FCBS) in relation to heritage repairs to the B-listed Easter Hall, Anstruther, as per attached drawings, any specifications provided and tender documentation.

The SCWP will be awarded as a FIXED PRICE sub-contract (for the duration of the Main Contract works).

The SCWP will be awarded as a LUMP SUM sub-contract.

It is recommended to visit the site to fully acquaint yourself with the full extent of the nature of the works for all supervision, labour, material and plant are to be included in your tender. Any additional costs will not be entertained for lack of such knowledge.

Please note, this includes all scaffolding and EPL costs when required. Traffic management requirements are to be provided by Building Services (though associated protection to scaffolding etc. to be included within tenderers' submission). As traffic management will be required (including during measurement of stone) tenderers must include for progressing works as time-efficiently as possible, with phasing of operations where necessary.

It is envisaged that works will progress with low level repairs/works that are not awaiting stone deliveries initially (from approximately mid-April); phasing will also be required to each elevation to minimise disruption/accommodate weddings and festivals; main scaffolding to the East elevation and associated high-level works commenced by the end of June. Please note, the North elevation works will need to be completed prior to July/after August – this will need to include any after care/hessian removals, as wedding photos are taken here.
