Hansel Alliance provide a short break and respite service for adults up to the age of 65 years with learning disabilities, and who may also have complex health and physical needs. The service is building based and currently operates from Taigh Mor, a building owned by the Council.
The service has been established for many years and is scheduled for formal tender; it is currently purchased off contract. The service has never been tendered or formally reviewed and a direct award is required to maintain and secure delivery to vulnerable adults whilst a formal review and tender takes place to secure delivery for the longer term.
