Award of Independent Review of Financial Risk Assessment

The Scottish Housing Regulator (SHR) is seeking to appoint a Consultant to review the SHR’s Financial Risk Assessment (FRA). SHR is the independent Regulator of just under 200 social landlords – around 150 Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and 32 local authorities. SHR is led by a Board of non-executive members, directly accountable to the Scottish Parliament and independent of Scottish Ministers.One of the SHR’s functions is a requirement to gather, monitor, assess and report regularly on the financial well-being of RSLs. To do this, the SHR needs to form a view on the financial well-being of each individual RSL in order to determine whether to engage with that RSL and, if so, to what extent and on what matters.
