The Byre Theatre is looking to upgrade existing projection equipment with the aim to offer DCI compliant cinema systems in both its venues, the A.B. Paterson Auditorium and Lawrence Levy Studio Theatre. The cinema systems must be able to receive DCP files whilst also being able to accept alternative content such as laptops and Blu-ray players for other day to day use.
The cinema systems must be able to integrate with existing audio systems, house lighting and theatrical sound and lighting systems. The systems must be installed to a fully working state at a timescale aggregable with the Byre Theatre’s Technical and Operations Department.
