A Detailed Ground Investigation is required as part of the A9/A82 Longman Junction Improvement project in Inverness.
The scope of ground investigation works shall include, but not be limited to, exploratory holes in soils, geophysical, pavement and drainage surveys, in situ testing, sampling, installation of groundwater monitoring instrumentation, geotechnical and geochemical laboratory testing, post-site monitoring and factual reporting in both digital and paper formats.
Site operations are to be undertaken on and/or in close proximity to an existing landfill, areas of dense vegetation, existing roads (requiring traffic management) and buried and overhead services including significant oil and gas pipelines.
