The aim of the project is to provide a new nursery to accommodate with in Kirkwall. This new accommodation, with a capacity for 53 children along with the necessary staff and will be designed and built to meet the requirements of current legislation and the Care Inspectorate.
The design consultant services commission, for the New Kirkwall Nursery is for the provision of the following services and shall comprise the following roles:
The Lead Consultant shall be responsible for the full design of the project, CDM Regulations 2015 (Principle Designer) as well as the provision and full co-ordination of the Design Team including the Mechanical & Electrical Consultant and Structural & Civil
Engineer and other Consultants as required for the project
