Dumfries and Galloway are exploring options for the provision of parts and services relating to the repair and maintenance of the waste process equipment within the Lochar-Moss MBT facility. The primary purpose of the MBT facility, is to mechanically recycle all incoming household waste from across the Dumfries and Galloway region of Scotland, operating 5 days per week, 24 hours per day, processing up to 70,000 tons of household bin waste per year. The scope may include but not be limited to emergency repairs, pro-active repairs and maintenance and lifecycle replacement and refurbishment plant processing equipment in the following discipline areas:
