Scottish Enterprise (SE) is looking to appoint a supplier to deliver activity as a “Cluster Builder” (CB) for the offshore wind sector in Scotland. An independent resource will be appointed as an effective way of supporting the existing offshore wind clusters in Scotland: Forth & Tay Offshore and DeepWind. The overall aim of the Offshore Wind Cluster Builder is to support at least 100 SME’s throughout the duration of the project, which will in turn assist in the development of the Scottish offshore wind clusters so they serve as an effective forum for collaboration between developers, supply chain companies, the public sector and academia to drive competitiveness and improve productivity in the Scottish offshore wind sector. It is envisaged that this contract will commence on the 10th of November 2020 for a period of approximately 28 months.
