ARA requires to appoint a suitable contractor to replace / replicate a damaged cast iron pedestal on New Bridge, Ayr. The New Bridge in Ayr (grid reference NS 33721 22171) is a category B listed building dating from 1879. One of the cast iron pedestals at the south-west corner of the bridge has sustained damage. The top part of the casting has broken off completely, leaving the lower part of the casting still attached to the bridge parapet.
