The Association is seeking to procure a framework of contractors to deliver its gas heating upgrade programme. Works will comprise of the removal of existing heating components and the design, supply and installation of replacement gas central heating systems including boiler replacement, radiator replacement, central heating pipework, upgrading of gas supply pipes, plasterwork and other associated works. It is envisaged that not all properties will require the same level of work. The extent of works within each property will therefore be decided during the pre-works survey process. Works will also include the reactive replacement of boilers which fail unexpectedly or are beyond economic repair.
Works will cover a three year period with the option of an extension to a fourth year dependent on contractor performance and the agreement of both parties.
