The Scottish Government is seeking to continue to develop its analytical capacity and capability to inform policy making by obtaining quality data and analysis relating to the energy industries operating in Scotland.

The aim of this procurement is to continue to build on the capacity of the Scottish Government to access information which informs its understanding of the upstream oil and gas industry in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS), the UK downstream oil and gas industry, including key trends and market outlooks, and existing trends and drivers of UK, European and Global energy markets developments. As such, this procurement will discuss data and analysis requirements for upstream, downstream and energy markets in turn.
