The purpose of this project is to deploy a single or a combination of methods to better assess and monitor the embankments’ current condition as well as its possible deterioration over time, in order to provide SC with the ability to forecast and manage any risks of potential embankment slips or even failure, as well as the right information to decide on whether stabilisation works are required and on which sections.
