Wideband Autonomous Echosounder able to obtain and log in situ calibrated acoustic data, as both single-target detctiona and echo-integration values, at ranges out to c. 200 m at deployment depths between 200 and 1,000 m across the frequency spectrum 25 kHz to 250 kHz. We need the instrument to be self-powered and internally-logging such that it can operate for up to 12 hours at a time on the end of a non-conducting deployment cable (from a surface ship).
