Argyll and Bute Council wish to appoint a consultant with the necessary skills and experience to produce a concept design for an active travel path between Lochgilphead Front Green and the Crinan Canal.
The concept design will be developed through consultation with the local community and key stakeholders.
An active travel route linking Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead Joint Campus is a long term aspiration of the community and was identified in the 2016 Rethink the Link Charrette report. This project seeks to find the most practical, safe and direct route for one section of the Ardrishaig –Lochgilphead Joint Campus active travel route.
