Award of Assisted Collections of recyclable waste

The Council requires a contractor to uplift on a monthly basis 1600 hundred assisted collection properties (of blue boxes containing glass, textiles and small WEEE) using there own vehicles and manpower. Offloading of the materials will be at Forthbank Household Waste Recycling Centre. All material deriving from the assisted collections will be processed by Clackmannanshire Council. The Contract will extend over a 15 month period from 5th January 2019 until 31st March 2021 with an option to extend the Contract for a further two six month periods. The Council, in seeking Best Value, is inviting bidders to submit a price and a proposal namely: For the collection of assisted backdoor lifts. The Contractor will be required to provide and operate all necessary resources; including vehicle’s, and staff to operate an assisted monthly collection, with scope to add more properties whilst providing crew feedback on customers and properties
