The LA10/11 project is focusing on improvements to Lochgilphead Front Green (LA10) and the public realm of Argyll Street around Colchester Square (LA11). The outline business case for this project relates to the upgrading of current facilities within the Front Green and Colchester Square areas in an attempt to make Lochgilphead and the wider Mid Argyll area a more attractive place for people to live and work.
The LA13 project focuses on improvements to the public realm area of Ardrishaig Waterfront.
The regeneration proposals will provide more aesthetically pleasing landscapes and safer routes for walkers/cyclists which should subsequently produce a higher footfall in these areas resulting in people spending longer in the areas and benefiting the local economy.
