Landfill capping and restoration works are required at Nether Dallachy Landfill site. The area comprises approx 10,000 m2 of permanent capping on the top, north flank and south flank of of phase 7A and ancilliary drainage works. Also included in the workscope is temporary capping of the east slope of Phase 7a and depending on rate of infill, temporary capping to part of the top (with a corresponding reduction in area of permanent capping on the top area). The temporary cap is to be drained by rainflaps, aligned to give a gravity flow away from the adjacent waste to discharge outside of the contained area as clean runoff.
