Skills Development Scotland has a requirement to procure an Apprentice Employer Survey. This research is designed to explore employers’ use and views of apprentices and to assess the benefits and impact that apprentices bring to employers.
The proposed research builds on previous successful work conducted in 2012 and 2015 and forms part of a wider SDS programme of research and evaluation to inform continuous improvement work and delivery of apprenticeships in Scotland. It will provide a crucial update to our existing knowledge of employer views and benefits of apprentices
