North Ayrshire Council requires Wall Repairs and Additional Cremation Plots at Ardrossan Cemetery, Sorbie Road, Ardrossan, KA22 7PD. The site for the works is the existing operational Ardrossan Cemetery. Tenderers should take cognisance of the day to day operations of the cemetery and to minimise any disturbance to staff and members of the public. Tenderers should include for any costs associated with minimising disturbance. Works comprise but are not limited to:
a) Demolishing and removing existing internal boundary including working around existing headstones and memorials b) Constructing new foundation to support existing monuments and memorials c) Restoration and repairs to existing masonry and brick boundary walls d) Constructing new sectional brick wall and building in existing wall memorial e) Providing extension to cemetery forming additional cremation plots and associated roads and paths.
