The Kirkintilloch Canal Festival is an annual event (which historically takes place the last weekend in August) delivered by the Regeneration and Town Centre team. There is a requirement as part of the operation and delivery of the event to procure a Health and Safety Adviser. Their role will be to advise on infrastructure requirements, attend Safety Advisory Group meetings, inform relevant safety documentation and be in attendance to oversee delivery during the main event.
