Remote Health Monitoring & Communications System

NSS wishes to procure a multi-channel remote health monitoring and communication solution capable of supporting the delivery of home and mobile health monitoring enhanced care pathways.

An “off the shelf” solution is sought; however solutions that need further development to meet requirements may also be of interest.

This notice is to:

• Assess the potential quality and safety of appropriate solutions currently available in the market.
• Assess market readiness of remote health monitoring solutions in relation to new obligations arising from REGULATION (EU) 2017/745 (Medical Device Regulations) coming into force in May 2020 and in the context of stand alone software as a medical device (SaMD).
