Award of Workplace Travel Planning 2019 - 2021

The City of Edinburgh Council has been successful in its bid for Smarter Choices, Smarter Places (SCSP) funding for a fourth year. This is Transport Scotland funding for behaviour change projects designed to reduce single car occupancy and encourage greater uptake of active and sustainable modes of transport for everyday journeys. The Smarter Choices, Smarter Places programme is enabling the Council to make progress towards achieving the actions of the Active Travel Action Plan and the Local Transport Strategy 2014-2019.The SCSP programme consists of four work packages:•workplaces;•schools;•communities;•research and policy.The Council requires the services of a suitably qualified Contractor to deliver a travel behaviour change project in workplaces, focusing on nudging people towards more sustainable travel to and from work and building awareness of the opportunities for walking and cycling in Edinburgh.
